Production 1- Film Approval and Beginning Filming

On Tuesday I was able to email the footage manager at USA swimming and ask for approval to use some of their footage from the Phillip 66 nationals in 2019, when Emma posted one of the fastest times in the world for the 400 IM. I’m still waiting on an email back, but I’m hoping I will get approval soon. In the meantime, I am beginning filming with Emma and were going to try and get all of the swim shots out of the way now so I can start editing and see how much more I need, and what I should cut out. Over break I’m thinking I will shoot her interview sequence for the movie and then add it into editing, but we'll see when we get there.
